Summary
Recito is built privacy-first. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you write and say with Recito stays on your iPhone.
What data Recito processes

Recito does not transmit any of the above to KHANSA Group or any third party. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no remote servers operated by us.
Permissions Recito requests

Microphone (
NSMicrophoneUsageDescription). Required only if you enable Voice-Synced Scrolling in the Reader. Audio is streamed directly into Apple’s on-device speech recognizer and is not recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. -
Speech Recognition (
NSSpeechRecognitionUsageDescription). Required for the same feature. Recito forces on-device recognition (requiresOnDeviceRecognition = true); recognition does not occur on Apple’s servers.
You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings › Recito. The rest of the App will continue to function normally; only Voice-Synced Scrolling will be disabled.
Third parties
Recito uses no third-party SDKs, libraries, or services that collect data. The App relies solely on Apple’s first-party frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, Speech, AVFoundation, UIKit).
Children
Recito is rated 4+ in the App Store. The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. We do not profile, advertise to, or track users of any age.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. To erase everything Recito stores on your device, delete the App; iOS removes the App’s private container and preferences automatically.
If you believe you have a privacy concern that the above does not cover, write to privacy@khansa.tech and we will respond within 30 days.
International transfers
No data leaves your device, so no international transfer occurs.
Security
Your scripts are stored inside the App’s iOS sandbox, protected by iOS’s standard data-protection class. We recommend enabling a device passcode and Face ID / Touch ID.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Recito handles data, we will publish a new version of this page with an updated effective date and, where the change is material, surface a notice inside the App before the change takes effect.
